The Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering" (SPbGASU) today is a major educational and scientific center, the only university in the Northwestern Federal District of the Russian Federation that provides comprehensive training of specialists in the field of construction, architecture, transport and engineering-ecological systems. SPbGASU has long professional and pedagogical traditions and constantly updates teaching technologies, topics and methods of scientific research.
The university trains bachelors, masters and specialists in full-time, part-time, part-time forms of education in accordance with the approved programs of higher professional education.
More than 500 teachers work at the university, more than 70% of them with academic degrees and titles. Two professors are academicians, seven are corresponding members and seven are advisors to the Russian Academy of Architecture and Building Sciences (RAACS), 25 lecturers are members of other Russian and international academies. Over 400 teachers were awarded orders and medals, honorary titles and certificates of various levels for their success in their work.

Having completed training in the direction of "Applied Mathematics and Informatics", students perfectly master the main modern programming languages and methods, work with virtual and augmented reality, mathematical and numerical methods and apply them to develop their own application programs in various fields: from tasks in the field of construction to economics and ecology.
Within the framework of diploma design, internships and a number of academic disciplines, students master information modeling technologies in construction (BIM-technologies), which is a new and promising area covering all stages of construction: from the development of an architectural model to the design and subsequent construction of a building object.

Information modeling technologies in the construction industry (BIM) are the basis of its digitalization. This is a new approach in which the entire process of design, construction and operation of facilities is transferred to a single information space, which allows you to centrally manage all changes, avoid many errors and save resources.
